Kinokabaret Community - just for kinoites

Today I created a community just for people connected to the Kinokabaret.
Join and add your local Kino-cell as a group there (if you are a founder or organizer).
Post your events (Kabarets, screenings) there, as well!
This works like all the other social networks, but it is reserved for Kinoites only.

The advantage of this will be to have a secluded space and to quickly find the next group and the next Kabaret. Of course it is free of charge.

This way we can finally create a European calendar for Kabarets (please write in English and / or German).

Einladung für Musiker: Komponiert Soundtracks!

Liebe Musiker und Sound-Designer

Zum 5. Mal öffnet das KinoKabaret seine Türen in Berlin. Für eine Woche im September reisen Filmemacher, Schauspielerinnen, Kameraleute und weitere Kurzfilmenthusiasten aus dem In- und Ausland an, um Teams zu bilden und in 3 x 3 Tagen No-Budget Filme herzustellen.
Das KinoKabaret ist ein Workshop mit Festivalcharakter und wurde vor zehn Jahren in Kanada erfunden. Inzwischen gibt es 60 Städte auf der Welt, in denen regelmäßig KinoKabarets stattfinden.

Wie jedes Jahr lädt die Gruppe KinoBerlino daher Musiker und Sound-Designer ein, die gerne in kurzer Zeit Soundtracks, Geräusche oder Live-Musik für Kurzfilme herstellen wollen. Wer daran Interesse hat sowie eigene Instrumente und Aufnahmetechnik, melde sich bitte mit dem Formular auf der Homepage an. Wir sind offen für alle Musikstile. Erweitert Euren Bekanntheitsgrad und bringt Beispiele Eurer Musik mit! (Im Haus der Veranstaltung befindet sich übrigens eine Musikschule.)

ROFL - Vienna

We made another shortfilm in Vienna at the Kino5 Kabaret last week. I like the team there so much. The film took 5 days to make and involved a trip to the countryside and a shoot with lots of extras.

It's called ROFL. A little comedy about a couple on a trip, the lack of gasoline, a bike, a scarf, a political demonstration and complications with angelic intervention.
We had the chance to record the pianist, who performed the soundtrack live.

You can ask me for a copy from now on.

I hope you enjoy it as much as the crowd at the screening.
